Marrakech: Moroccan cooking class with a local family

Discover the world of Moroccan cuisine during a Moroccan cooking class with a unique local family in an authentic chef’s home, learn about the different ingredients, then cook and enjoy a meal together.The chef will be waiting for you at the meeting. The chef will offer you the menus and the chef will explain the different ingredients used. You will get everything you need for the reception and take pictures if you want too.

After the market, you will go to an authentic Moroccan house in the heart of the Medina. You will be welcomed with tea, coffee or Moroccan juice, and an open conversation with the chef’s family. This will be an opportunity for you to learn more about the culture, the lifestyle of a typical Moroccan family.

The course will begin by explaining to you all the spices that you can taste in Moroccan cuisine, in case you want to buy it in the souks, so that you know how to choose it.

You will then cook the starter (Moroccan salads or briwat), the main course (tagines, couscous, tanjya….) and the Moroccan dessert. Vegetarian, vegan or other allergies will not be a problem.

You will then have the family cooked meal. After the best meal you will ever have here in Marrakech, a gift will be offered to you at the end of the lesson.
